Hi,

Here is a total of 2 (75g) packs of  Da Yu Ling 90k (大禹嶺) Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong Tea for sale. The tea farms are often identified by their kilometer markers on the Central Cross-Island Highway between Da Yu Ling and Li Shan, specifically around the 95K to 105K marks. The higher marker may correlate to higher quality, but also limited supply.

Beautiful perfume and distinct mountain air evident. Refined and elegant tea ending with a strong (喉韵) sweet feeling in the throat that only the best tea can deliver.

The tea is cultivated at a height of 2300 meters or so.

The vacuum sealed packs allow the tea to continue to develop. It will be less astringent and become more mellow and smooth. This tea can continue to evolve for 2 or more years as long as the package remains sealed.

** Bonus **

I will include a sample of an excellent Taiwanese high mountain oolong tea.

When you receive the tea, please try one pack. If you are not satisfied, just let me know and process a return through Ebay. You can keep the opened pack.

 Handpicked Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong

A lightly fermented tea that is classified as a fragrant spherical oolong tea. The color of the tea is light to honey yellow and the taste is smooth, sweet, and, soft. The aroma is fragrant and elegant with hints of fruit and flowers. I offer High Mountain teas with altitudes of at least 1,300 meters. The cool mountain climate has less sunshine which produces teas with less bitterness and an increase in sweetness and pectin. You will notice the viscosity when you gently tilt the tea cup back and forth.

Brewing Guide:

If you have the time, I highly recommend brewing oolong tea (or any Chinese tea) gong fu style because you can taste the difference and it really opens up the tea. In the evening especially, I use a Yixing clay teapot to wind down a long day. You can use 5 or so grams of tea for a small teapot, or you can use a ratio of 25 to 1, teapot volume to tea leaves. For example, if your teapot is 200 ml, use 8 grams of tea. Adjust according to your personal preference. Other times, I just use a mug about 12 ounces or so. I take a nice pinch of tea leaves, about 6-8 leaves and pour boiling water that cooled for a couple of minutes into the mug. Let the tea cool for a bit and then enjoy! Adjust the amount of tea leaves according to your taste. Add hot water for up to two more times if you like.

I hope you enjoy the tea. Cheers.
